TEEN REVIEWS WRITTEN BY YOU: |

|
The book Elsewhere, by Gabrielle Zevin is the story of the afterlife of a teenager, Liz. It shifts viewpoints in the beginning, so that is somewhat confusing. Like Liz, you are introduced to the world of Elsewhere and its rules gradually, but I felt she caught on before I did; so she understood it before me. Some of the ideas in the book were touching and sparked my curiosity, like the message in the bottle, but others did not appeal to me. Liz was a well-developed character, and it showed especially with the matter of the green sweater for her Dad. Over all it was not a bad book, but I wouldn’t put it on my list of favorites, either.
