North Brunswick residents get a FREE library card.  Just apply at the NBPL circulation desk.

What you will need:

  • Valid Government Issued ID or Proof of Residency
    • Proof of residency can be any of the following:
      • Utility Bill (gas, cable, electric etc.)
      • Apartment Lease or House Bill of Sale

Children and Teens can get library cards when parents are present.  Also, any teen who attends school in North Brunswick may receive a card with valid school ID.

We also welcome library cards from any other Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium (LMxAC). However, we will need to enter your information into our system to activate your card. Please present your library card to desk staff to begin using your card at the North Brunswick Public Library.

We charge $50 per year for out-of-township residents wishing to obtain a library card.
