2016 Summer Reading Programs at the Library
On Your Mark, Get Set… Read! KIDS!!! Join us this summer for the 2016 On Your Mark, Get Set … READ! summer reading challenge and earn prizes. The calendar is jam-packed with great activities, including storytimes, arts & crafts, movies, Sciencetellers and a puppet show! Details about registration for arts & crafts programs is here. Sign up for the reading challenge will begin on June 27. The challenge will end on August 22.
GET IN THE GAME. READ The theme for the Teens Summer Reading Program is Get in the Game READ. Start reading books on June 27 for a chance to win a laptop, tablet, e-reader & Amazon gift cards. The program ends on August 14. Registration not necessary. For every book you read, fill out a form and drop it into the black box located at the front desk.
Exercise your mind. READ! The Adult Exercise your mind. READ! Summer Reading Program begins on Monday, June 20 and will end on August 14. No registration needed. Pick up a log sheet to record books read or listened to. For every book read, fill out a book review form and drop it into the green box located at the front of the library for a chance to win Amazon gift cards and 1 of 2 Kindles. Find out how attending library programs will give you an extra chance at earning prizes.
